Purple halo smokey eyes

I've started with priming my lids using Mac Paint Pot in Soft Ochre. I brought it all the way under my brows, covering the entire lid area. Next I applied black kajal pencil into my inner and outer corners and I blended it well with my brush. Afterwards I applied black matte eyeshadow on top of the kajal pencil and I blended the edges well.  Next I applied a transition color above my crease. I used a matte medium brown and I blended it well, so the transition between black and medium brown was smooth.
Next I applied a purple gel eyeliner as a creamy base on my mobile lids. I did the same on my bottom lids as well.
Afterwards I applied a shimmery purple eyeshadow on top of the purple base and I blended the edges a bit, I applied the same purple eyeshadow on my bottom lids and I blended it with the same transition color. Next I lined my top and bottom lashline with a liquid eyeliner.
For the face I applied MAC Pro Longwear concealer in NC 15 mixed with a full coverage foundation from Max Factor in shade 105. I set everything with a loose powder and I contoured a bit under my cheekbones.
Next I defined my brows with a black eyeshadow and applied a generous amount of mascara on my lashes. For the lips I chose a neutral nude liquid lipstick.

Cote d'Azur colors inspired look feat. Sephora Blockbuster Palette

I was thinking what kind of look should I do today and because it's summer holiday time here in the Netherlands I thought something "vacation-like" would be fun to do. I absolutely adore colors of french Cote d'Azur - aqua, turquoise, marine blue and green. I put them all in one look and of course I "gothed" it! If you want to know how I did it, keep reading.

I started as usually with priming my lids. I used Mac Paint Pot in Soft Ochre all over my lids. Next I blackened the inner and outer corners of my eyes with a black gel eyeliner from the Sephora Blockbuster Palette. The whole palette is amazing invention. It contains majority of products you need for make-up - eyeshadows, eyeliners, eye pencils, blushes, lip pencils and lip glosses. I also use gel eyeliners for my brows so there are more areas covered for me in just one palette.
Next I applied my transition color. I chose the satin medium brown and I put it above my crease. I always "pretend" that my crease is 1 till 1.5 cm higher than my natural crease and I put my eyeshadows accordingly. That's how I cheat big eyes and hide that my lids are hooded.

Next I applied a black matte shadow on top of the black base I created earlier and I blended the edges.
Next I applied a turquoise gel eyeliner (from the Blockbuster palette) in the centre of my lids. Afterwards I applied turquoise eye shadow on top of it. I concentrated the lightest color on the middle of my mobile lids. I applied darker blue and navy blue towards the outer corners to achieve gradiant effect. I applied a green eye shadow towards the inner corners.
Next I lined my top lashline with a liquid eyelier. I applied black gel eye liner into my waterline and on my lower eyelids. I blended it with the black eyeshadow and I applied the same turquoise shadow in the centre.

After I cleaned all fall outs I primed my face using Revlon Photoready foundation primer. I concentrated mainly on the centre of my face - nose, cheeks, chin and forehead.

Next I applied my foundation - I mixed Mac Studio Fix Fluid in NC 15 with Mac Pro Longwear concealer in NC 15 and pressed it into my skin with damp beauty blender.
To hide my under eye darkness I used LA Girl HD concealer in shade Natural. I set everything with loose powder from Grimase.

I also controured under my cheekbones, sides of my nose and sides of my forehead with medium brown eyeshadow from my Morphe 35 W palette.

Next I applied mascara and demi false lashes and "drew on" my eyebrows.
I lined my lips with black liquid lipstick from LA Splash in shade Venom. I filled in the centre with the same turqoise gel eyeliner and I applied the same blue eyeshadows I used for my eyes in the same gradiant way - darker towards outer corners, green in the very centre of my lips.

Halo smokey eyes using Morphe 35W palette

I've started with priming my lids using MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot which I applied all over my eyelids and blended very well.

Next I darkened my inner and outer corners with a black kajal eye pencil and I blended it as well. I figured out that a black kajal pencil blends way easier when it's applied on top of the cream base. I made sure that some of that black is on my bottom lids as well.

Next I applied my transition colors. I first started with matte white which went directly under my brows and which I blended with matte light beige color which I applied below. Next I blended the black with some medium brown above my crease.

Then I moved on to the black eye shadow which I applied to my inner and outer corners and blended with the transition colors I applied earlier.

Next I applied the shimmery plum color in the centre of my lids and blended with the black color a bit so the transition was perfectly smooth. I applied the same color on my lower lids as well.

Afterwards I applied a shimmery white eye shadow (which is not in Morphe 35W palette) into my inner corners. I blended it a bit with the black color which I applied earlier.

I finished the eye look with eyeliner on my top lash line and waterline and with a mascara.
For my face I used a thin layer of a medium coverage foundation (MAC Studio Fix fluid in NC15). I highlighted under my eyes with LA Girl HD concealer in shade Natural. I set everything with a loose powder and I contoured a bit with the medium brown eyeshadow from the Morphe palette.

Next I defined my brows with the black eyeshadow from the Morphe palette.

For my lips I used a frosty lilac lipstick from Max Factor and I outlined them a bit with a rosy pink lip pencil. I blended the edges a bit to make it look a bit more natural.

Dark smokey eyes feat. Sleek Enchanted Forest palette

I started with priming my eyelids using MAC Paint Pot in shade Soft Ochre. I blended it very well up to my eyebrows. Next I applied my black base on top - creamy black eye pencil which I blended with my finger. I made sure that outer corners are the darkest. I applied some of that pencil on my bottom lids as well.

Then I started with the Enchanted Forest palette. First I highlighted under my brows with a white eye shadow (1). This also created a barrier for other shadows I applied later on.
Than I applied a dark plum eye shadow (2) all over my eyelids. I went pretty high in my inner corners, almost up till my brows which was something new I wanted to try out. I made sure I blended well above my crease. I always apply eye shadows very high above my crease because I have hooded eyes and this is an amazing trick how to make it less visible.
Next I applied a silvery-green eye shadow into my inner corners (3). Afterwards I darkened the outer corners with a dark burgundy/black (4). I did this on my lower lids as well. The last eye shadow I used was the shimmery purple (5) which I popped in the center of my lids (top and bottom).

Next I lined my top lash line with liquid eyeliner. I also applied black eye pencil into my waterline.
Afterwards I applied my foundation from Mary Kay in shade Ivory, a concealer under my eyes (LA Girl HD concealer in shade Natural) and I set it all with a white loose powder from Grimase. I also contoured under my cheekbones using a light brown matte eye shadow from Revlon (Hazelnut). Then I applied my mascara and defined my brows using black matte eye shadow.
For my lips I used 2 products - both liquid. I first lined my lips with black liquid lipstick from LA Splash in shade Venom. Then I filled in the center with a purple matte lip gloss.
Afterwards I blended them together a bit to achieve more smooth transmission of colors.

Quick plum smokey eyes

I started with the foundation. I used Vichy Dermablend foundation stick in shade Opal (which is the lightest foundation I own). I set it with loose powder. Next I applied the dark plum matte eye shadow from Sleek Enchanted forest palette. I blended the edges with white eye shadow and I darkened the outer and the inner corners of my eyes with the darkest shadow in the palette (it's dark burgundy, almost black). Next I lined my top and bottom lash line with black eye pencil. I also lined my waterline. Next I defined my brows using black eye shadow. Afterwards I applied mascara on my top and bottom lashes and I moved on to the lips. I first put on liquid lipstick from Maybelline in shade Raspberry all over the lips. Then I darkened the inner corners with a black liquid lipstick from LA Splash (shade Venom). Then I blended the colors together a bit to achieve a smooth transmission.

All purple using Sleek Enchanted Forest palette

I first started with priming my eyes using Inglot's gel eyeliner in shade 73 which is amazing purple color. I made sure it is as dense as possible. Next I blended the edges with Inglot's 390 matte eyeshadow which is light beige with slight pink undertone and I used Inglot 373 matte eyeshadow for highlighting my browbone. Then I applied Grand Duke eyeshadow from Sleek Enchanted forest. It is slightly shimmery duochrome blue with purple. Absolutely amazing color. I applied it on my lids up to the crease and I blended it so the transition would be smooth. I repeated the same steps on my lower lids as well. I also highlighted my inner corners a bit with Fairy Godmother (which is shimmery light pink color) from the same palette.
Afterwards I lined my top lashline using NYC liquid liner and applied my foundation the standard way. I tested the new foundation this time - Lancome Miracle Teint in shade 034 mixed with MAC Pro Longwear concealer in shade NC15. They work amazing together. I also highlighted my under eye area using LA Girl Pro HD concealer in shade Natural. I set everything with white loose powder from brand called Grimase. Then I applied my mascara and while it was drying I defined my brows using Maybelline's Color Tattoo cream eyeshadow in black and I brushted them through with clear brow gel. I also contoured my cheekbones using Inglot's matte eyeshadow in shade 342.
For my lips I started with matte purple lipgloss which is exactly the same color as my Inglot's gel eyeliner. After it dried I applied the Grand Duke eyeshadow on top of it and I darkened the inner corners using black matte eyeshadow and liquid eyeliner for extra sharpness.

Pink & Lavender using Sleek Candy palette

I've started with priming my lids using purple gel eyeliner and my finger. Then I blended the edges above my crease with neutral light beige matte eyeshadow. Then I applied purple matte eyeshadow all over my eyelids (bottom as well). Then I blended my crease using blue eyeshadow. I did this to achieve more lavender color and to make the purple more cool-toned. I did the same on my bottom lids. then I darkened the outer V's with dark purple. I highlighted my inner corners and the area under my browbone with a white shimmery shadow. Next I applied my liquid liner on my top lashline and black matte eyeshadow along my bottom lashes. After I cleaned all fall outs I applied my primer, foundation, loose setting powder and I contoured my cheekbones. Then I applied my mascara and while it was drying I defined my brows using black brow pencil. For the lips I used frosty lilac lipstick.

Pinks & Purples using Sleek Vintage Romance palette

I really like non-standard lip colors lately so I decided to create the look when my lips would match my eyeshadows. I think it's pretty obvious that my favourite color is purple - and it is very convenient because purple is the color you should wear when you have green eyes (which I have). How I achieved this look?
I first started with my base. I chose to use a purple gel eyeliner simply because it's very creamy and it will make my eyeshadows more purple. The base decides how your eyeshadows are going to look - if you use neutral, your eyeshadow won't change it's color but if you use black or gray it will make your eyeshadow look cooled-toned and darker. I chose purple one because I was going to use more pink eyeshadows and I wanted them to appear more purple.
Then I started to apply my main color (1) all over my lids up the crease and I blended it with slightly darker one in the crease (2). I didn't go too high though. I highlighted my browbone with a white matte eyeshadow and I also blended the purple a bit to create more smooth transition. I applied the same color on my lower lids as well. Then I lined my top lashline with a liquid eyeliner and I used black eyepencil on bottom lids - all the way from inner to the outer corners. After I cleaned all fallouts I moved on to my face - and my standard foundation routine. First primer, then the lightest foundation I own mixed with MAC Pro longwear concealer in NC15 and set it all with white loose powder. I always contour my cheekbones slightly. I defined my eye brows with a black matte eyeshadow.
For the lips I used matte long lasting lipgloss and when it dried I darkened the inner corners with black eyepencil. Pretty simple.

Grungy copper look using Sleek Sunset Palette

I've started differently this time. I first primed my face using Dermacol Sheer Face Illuminator in shade Sun Bronze. Afterwards I applied my foundation on top of it. I used Mary Kay TimeWise luminous-wear liquid foundation in shade 4 Ivory. The combination of foundation and illuminator gave my skin beautiful fresh glow.

I concealed my under eye area using LA Girl Pro HD concealer in shade Natural and I set everything with Mary Kay Translucent Loose powder. I contoured under my cheekbones a bit using Inglot Freedom System Matte eyeshadow in shade 342.

Then I moved on to the eyes. I applied a bit of a concealer on my eyelids and I set it with powder. I highlighted my brow bone using Inglot Freedom System Matte eyeshadow in shade 373 and I applied shade 350 all over my eyelid. Then I applied coppery-red eyeshadow from Sleek Sunset palette on the moving part of my lids and I blended it upwards. I applied this shadow all along my lower lash line as well. Next I darkened the outer V's using cool burgundy shimmery shadow from the same palette. I darkened it even more using matte black shadow. I applied tiny bit of the golden eye shadow into my inner corners.
When I was done with applying and blending of eye shadows I lined my eyes using liquid liner from Catrice.
Next I applied L’Oréal Volume Million Lashes So Couture mascara on my top and bottom lashes.

I defined my eyebrows using Rimmel Glam eyes eyeshadow  in shade214 Jet Black.

Then I moved on to the lips. First I outlined them using Essence Long Lasting eye pencil 01 Black Fever and then I applied Max Factor Lipfinity color & gloss liquid lipstick in shade 550 Reflective Ruby. I blended the outline a bit before it dried in order to achieve bit of an ombre effect.

Sleek Sunset Palette inspired

I've started with priming my eyelids using MAC's Paint Pot in Soft Ochre. Then I applied light beige (Inglot 390) and medium brown (Inglot 342) matte eyeshadow into my crease and blended it well . This acted as a transition color. Then I started with Sleek's Sunset Palette. I applied golden-yellow eyeshadow (1) into my tear dot area and inner corners. Then I applied copper eyeshadow (2) right next to the previous one and I blended the colors together a bit to achieve smooth transmission of colors. Next shadow was red-brown (3) and strawberry-red (4). I blended the red one (4) also higher in my crease where it connected the medium matte brown eyeshadow I applied as first. I darkened the outer V with burgundy eyeshadow (5). I followed the same steps in my lower lid as well. Afterwards I drew my eyeliner on, medium thick and winged outwards. I applied it on my lower lashline and in my waterline as well. I finished my eyes with lot of mascara (Rimmel Scandal Eyes).
For my face I used MAC Pro Longwear concealer in shade NC 20 instead of foundation and I set it with translucent face powder. I contoured under my cheekbones a bit using Inglot's 342 eyeshadow.
Sleek Sunset Palette
I filled in my brows using black brow pencil and for my lips I choose Max Factor's Lipfinity in shade 070 Spicy.

Spring night feat. Sleek Oh So Special palette

I felt like trying something else today - combining colors which I usually never use in one look. Also, it has been quite a while since I used shimmery eye shadows so I thought why not try to put it all together in one colorful look. Then I took my Oh So Special palette and I saw the matt pink and shimmery blue and I thought - this might be fun. So this is the result.
I started with applying Maybelline Color Tattoo 24H cream in shade 65 Pink Gold all over my eye lid. This shadow works amazing as base. Then I applied matt pink shadow from Oh So Special palette into my crease with big fluffy brush. Then I applied beige matt shadow from same palette on top of it. I blended both very well. Then I applied shimmery light pink all over my eyelid. Then I applied shimmery blue shadow into my inner corners and outer corners as well. Then I draw a line to connect them which gave me nice "cut crease" effect. I draw this line little bit higher than  where is my natural crease in order to make my eyes appear bigger. My lids are also slightly hooded so if I draw this line lower it wouldn't be visible with my eyes open.
I smudged this line a bit with same pink color I used earlier to make the transition smooth. I darkened the outer V with black shadow (from same palette). I repeated the same steps on my lower lid as well in opposite order (I started with blue and black, then shimmery light pink, than matt pink, then beige). Then I draw quite thin line with black gel eye liner, I winged it out quite much and I concentrated on making sharp lines in my inner corners. I smudged the top lash line with black eyeshadow to make it more "smokey". Then I applied silver eye pencil in my water line and I finished off with plenty of mascara on top and bottom lashes.
After I cleaned all fall outs, I applied primer and MAC Pro long wear concealer under my eyes and all over my face instead of concealer. Then I contoured my cheekbones  and sides of my nose using dark concealer and I highlighted as well (which I normally never do). I set everything with loose powder and I contoured using  cool medium brown matt eye shadow (which works amazing). Then I applied bit of blush using Sleek Lace blush palette (middle and right color). Then I defined my brows using dark grey matt eyeshadow and clear brow gel. As last I put on lipstick (L’Oréal Infallible Lipstick 110 Timeless Rosé and Max Factor Lipfinity 140 Charming).

Fall bronze feat. Sleek Sunset Palette

This time I decided to make some more "daytime appropriate" look. I had Sunset Palette quite some time and I have been using it only in summers - but as I was going through my make up stash and I saw this palette again, it occurred to me that it might be just perfect for autumn/fall looks. It has only shimmer shades, most of them with golden undertones and it is simply amazing. I highly recommend this palette to everybody with warm or neutral skin tone and with blue or green eyes.

I started on with MAC Paint pot in shade Soft Ochre as a base. I applied all the colors similarly as I did with my previous look (cobalt ombre eyes), so starting with the darkest color along the lash line and moving on to lighter colors on the way towards the brow.
My first color was however from Sleek The Original Palette - rusty shimmery brown, then all colors following were from the Sunset Palette. The highest color was yellow golden one, and I blended it with matt light beige (from Sleek Ultra Matts v2). I applied matt white shadow under the brow bone as a highlight. Then I applied bit of dark matt brown into the outer V and on the lower lid as well. I put white pencil into waterline and into inner corners as a base for shimmery light yellow shadow which I applied afterwards.
I lined my top lash line with black kohl pencil and I smudged it with matt black shadow because I wanted more smokey line effect instead of my usual gel eyeliner.
Then I finished off my face with primer, concealer, foundation, powder, contour and blush and I applied mascara to top and bottom lashes. While mascara was drying I did my brows, then I applied one more coat of mascara and I moved on to my lips. I applied first colour (L'Oréal one) all over the lips and I applied bit of (Max Factor) in the centre of the lips just to make it more interesting.

Cobalt ombre eyes - 4 shades of blue

I have made this look already earlier on my sister, but photo's didn't come out good so I decided to re-create it again with little changes. I was quite out of my comfort zone - I normally never wear blue eye shadows, because I have feeling that it doesn't really fit with my eye color, but after I saw these photo's I thought that it is not so bad.  Anyway, you can do this look with any eye shadow color you want - purple, green, pink...whatever you like. I really love this shade of blue (cobalt). It is so hard to find it and if you would find it in this specific colour and you would put it on your eyes, it would still look different. Therefore I have used 4 different shades of blue to achieve perfect cobalt color. The point is that you start with the darkest color which you apply lowest (right above the lash line) and then you apply lighter shades on the way up (to the brow bone). The key is to cross those colors a little so the transition will be smooth and almost invisible. If you do that well, you won't even see that there are 4 different colors on the lid.

I started with Sleek Primer Palette, applying blue primer all over the lid with flat synthetic brush. Then I started applying eye shadows - first I applied dark navy blue from Sleek The Original Palette. I put it all along the lash line, from inner corner to outer corner, to approximately half of my eyelid - almost as a very thick eyeliner. Then I put blueberry shadow on from Sleek Candy Palette which is 2 or 3 shades lighter then shadow I used earlier. I started to put this shadow where the dark one ended and little bit over it, so the transition will be smooth without any harsh edges. I applied this shadow all over the lid as well and I stopped where the crease begins. Then I took turquoise shadow from The Original palette and I put it into the crease. When I had the shape I wanted, I blended the edges with matt light blue shadow from the Candy palette. Then I put matt light beige shadow on top of light blue to neutralize all those blue colors so they don't go all the way up to my brow bone. Then I put white matt eyeshadow on my brow bone.
Then I cleaned up fall outs with dump cotton pad and I swept it under my eyes along the lower lash line all the way out towards my brow to create sharp edge. Then I applied white kohl pencil into my waterline and bit into inner corners of the eyes. Then I put white matt shadow on top of it (in the inner corners). Then I put warm matt chocolate shadow all along the lower lash line and out to meet the blue eyeshadow. Then I applied matt black shadow all along the top lash line and I extended it outwards so it darken the outer edge and I applied a bit on the bottom lash line as well.
Then I moved to the rest of the face.
First I applied my primer all over the face, then I put concealer under my eyes and I mixed a bit of it with my foundation and I applied very thin layer all over my face. Then I set everything with a loose powder, I did a bit of contouring under my cheekbones and bit of a highlight on my cheekbones. I didn't use any blush. I applied very generous amount of mascara on my top lashes and I did my brows while it was drying. Then I put a second coat of mascara and I put one coat on bottom lashes too (with different mascara). Then I put a lipstick on and voila - make up ready:-)

Rusty brown & pop of green (Sephora Endless Color Blockbuster palette)

I really love warm brown eye shadows but I was bit afraid to use it because it kind of made me looking sick. It is very tricky to use warm tone eye shadows for women with cool undertone skin. My skin is neutral though but it is still quite difficult for me to use warm browns. Therefore I have tried this look - warm brown with red undertones blended with orange and pop of cool green into inner corners to tone down all the warm colors, For this look I have used my Sephora Endless Color Blockbuster Collector’s Edition Makeup Palette which I get as a present quite some time ago but I actually haven't use it that much. I was always used to work with Sleek eye shadows which are extremely pigmented so these Sephora shadows seemed not that good to me. But now I have found out that these shadows are perfect for blending and I have to build the color up. You won't get much of a pigmentation just with one sweep (as you normally would with Sleek shadows) but you can layer the colors on top of each other which creates amazing effect which was very surprising for me. I think this look turned out very well and I am definitely going to use this Sephora palette much more often.
